The Tiens Africa Region Compensation Plan, as detailed in the August 2017 presentation, is a multi-tiered reward system designed to incentivize both personal product sales and the development of a robust distributor network. The plan is structured around a comprehensive rank system and seven distinct types of bonuses 

Rank System

The system is divided into three primary categories of advancement:

Development Ranks: These initial ranks are achieved through Bronze (100 BV), Silver (200 BV), and Gold (400 BV) entry levels.

Basic Distributor Ranks: These progress from 3-star to 8-star status. Higher star levels are reached by meeting Accumulated Total Net Personal Volume (ATNPV) milestones, such as 5,000 PV for 5-star, 25,000 PV for 6-star, and 100,000 PV for 8-star.

Honorary Ranks: Elite status levels starting with Bronze Lion and Silver Lion, progressing up to Honorary Director. These require maintaining active 8-star legs within one's network. For example, a Silver Lion requires three active 8-star legs, each with 5,000 TNPV.

Bonus Structures

The plan offers seven specific bonus types to reward different aspects of business growth:

Direct Sponsoring Bonus (18%): This bonus is earned when a distributor sponsors new members. The rate depends on the distributor's entry rank: 10% for Bronze, 15% for Silver, and 18% for Gold.

Development Bonus (11%): Based on weekly development sales within the structure, this bonus uses a matching system between legs. Weekly maximum caps apply, such as $800 for Bronze, $2,000 for Silver, and $4,000 for Gold.

Coaching Bonus (16%): This rewards leaders for the development of their sponsored network. It allows qualified Silver and Gold members to earn a 4% extraction ratio across up to four generations of their downlines' development bonuses.

Sales Bonus (40.5%): This is a differential bonus based on retail sales. Rates increase with star rank, starting at 15% for 4-star members and reaching up to 40.5% for Honorary Directors.

Excellence Bonus (8%): Targeted at 8-star ranks and above, this bonus pool consists of 8% of the region's monthly retail sales BV. Points are awarded based on personal rank and having active same-rank downlines.

Honorary Bonus (4%): Reserved for Bronze Lions and above, this pool allocates percentages of global sales to elite leaders, ranging from 1% for Bronze Lions to 0.25% for Honorary Directors.

Special Awards (3%): These are prestigious milestones rewards, including International Tour Seminars (1%), Luxury Car Awards valued at $30,000 (1.5%), and Luxury Villa Awards valued at $170,000 (0.5%).

This compensation plan emphasizes consistent activity, requiring personal consumption (PPV) and organizational volume (TNPV) to remain "active" and eligible for high-level bonuses.

How you earn in TIENS (overview)

Below is a clear, example-based walkthrough you can tailor to match the exact percentages and names shown on your slides.

Key terms

PV: Personal Volume from your own purchases.
GV: Group/Team Volume from you + your team.
BV: Bonus Volume used for commissions (often close to PV, but set by company).
Rank/Title: Your current qualification level that may unlock deeper bonuses.

Ways to earn (adapt names to your slides)

Illustrated examples

Replace the bracketed % and convert BV to your local currency based on your official plan.

Example A 2d Retail profit

You sell 5 items. Distributor price = 100,000 UGX each. Retail price = 130,000 UGX each. Profit per item = 30,000 UGX. Total profit = 5 d7 30,000 = 150,000 UGX.

Example B 2d Direct referral bonus

You enroll 3 partners. Their first month orders are 200 BV, 150 BV, and 100 BV. If your plan pays [10%] direct bonus: Earnings = (200 + 150 + 100) d7 10% = 45 BV worth of bonus.

Example C 2d Team/Group bonus

Your qualified team volume this cycle is 3,000 BV. If the team bonus is [8%]: Team bonus = 3,000 d7 8% = 240 BV.

Example D 2d Matching/Leadership bonus

You have 2 direct leaders. Their team bonuses this cycle are 120 BV and 80 BV. If matching pays [10%] on Level 1: Matching = 120d710% + 80d710% = 20 BV.

Example E 2d Rank advancement

You hit a new rank that requires [Your PV] and [Your GV], unlocking an extra [X%] differential or a oned7 cash award of [insert amount]. Add details from Slide [#].

Example F 2d Personal reorder rebate

Your monthly reorder is 300 BV. If personal rebate is [5%], you earn 300d75% = 15 BV.

Quick start path

Step 1: Place your own monthly order ([target PV]) to be active/qualified.
Step 2: Enroll 3 partners and help each place [starter PV] in their first month.
Step 3: Teach duplication: 3d73 = 9 in Level 2, 27 in Level 3, etc. Commissions follow your plan’s % per level/leg
